Preconception

In early August, 2004, Smaragd circulated a collection of unfinished tracks for the forthcoming Mythconception album. The collection, titled Preconception: Mythconception In Progress, was given to a very few people whom Smaragd knows personally.

Preconception consists of nine tracks:

The Apotheosis of William Harvey
Stigma
Palingensia
Sarah In the Garden
The Decision (Part I: The Frustration of Krist)

Crucifixion In the Garden
Mythogenesis

Althought most tracks are not entirely finished, all tracks included are close enough to finished to be quite listenable and, hopefully, enjoyable to those few who get to hear them. However, note that there are several songs between “The Decision” and “Crucifixion In the Garden” which Smaragd has not yet begun to record, and so are entirely omitted from Preconception.
